What happens Next?

The Publication Plan will be the final draft Plan that we consult on before submitting the Plan for an independent examination.

Following the close of the consultation, all responses we receive will be sent to an independent Planning Inspector who will be appointed by the Secretary of State to conduct a formal Examination in Public into the plan.

The Inspector will consider any representations received on the final draft and hold public hearing sessions where the main matters and issues raised in the representations can be discussed in person which will include public hearing sessions.

For instructions on how to use the system and make comments, please see our help guide.
