Recommend early consultation with the Trust on any stakeholder-led master planning approaches or through individual pre-application engagements. Retrofitting is also briefly mentioned in para 12.10 of the justification text. Request paragraph is augmented to reflect reality that heritage property stock as well as modern (up to the early 21st century) stock will require retrofitting to be energy efficient and sustainable.
