have a concern which is exactly the same as last year when we discussing the Halesowen bid and that is any loss of parking facility in Halesowen. Any loss could
mean that people go elsewhere so that the footfall in Halesowen would decrease and that is something that should be avoided. If car parks are removed then other
carparking facilities need to be provided otherwise it could lead to Halesowen becoming partly derelict.
Thank you for your reply but from personal experience using the town I have found that the car parks at main times are quite full so the loss of all the spaces in the pool
Road car park would give a parking problem. This is especially so for disabled spaces as most are in Pool Road car park.
I do not know when the 44% occupancy was checked but what remains of the parking area is usually quite full.
