Part Two of the Regulation 19 Publication Local Plan includes housing and employment allocations for the Borough. The land controlled by Harworth Group off Thorns Road, Brierley Hill, is proposed for allocation as site DLP H017, with an indicative capacity of 286 dwellings. Harworth Group strongly supports this allocation and is committed to developing the entire site. Development proposals for 50 dwellings on the southern part of the site (application P22/1363) are currently under consideration, with planning permission expected soon. The remaining land will be developed in phases, and Harworth Group supports the continued allocation of this site in the emerging Plan.
