Part Two: Centres and Site Allocations (Regulation 18)

Representation ID: 274

Received: 20/12/2023

Respondent: Miss Judith Davies

Representation Summary:

I don't know why this Gypsy and Traveller site remains on the map as it is just lying derelict and every time a proposal has been put forward for its use by travellers it has been opposed by your own officials, as well as residents. Delph Lane is very narrow with no pavement and is mainly used by pedestrians. It is totally unsuitable for large vehicles. It is also quite steep and people with heavy loads or pushing baby buggies etc would find it very difficult to jump out of the way of large vehicles. Any suggestion to increase traffic in this narrow cul-de-sac needs rejecting.
