Part Two: Centres and Site Allocations (Regulation 18)

Representation ID: 126

Received: 20/12/2023

Respondent: David Beasley

Representation Summary:

I object to the number houses proposed not the use of the site for housing. When plans for the site were originally submitted I believe the number of houses was fewer than the now proposed 650. I have already submitted an objection to the planning proposal but my issues relate to access, this should not be via Ploverdale Crescent, lack of infrastructure as the roads are already congested and service an accident and emergency hospital and environmental impacts. Where are the new doctors surgeries, dental practices, additional schools etc. that the area badly needs?

Part Two: Centres and Site Allocations (Regulation 18)

Representation ID: 136

Received: 21/12/2023

Respondent: Ms Heather Davies

Representation Summary:

Strong objection to any through road linking on to Crestwood that would impact on safety of residents and the school in Lapwood and destroy the community of the estate.
Accept the concept of building on quarry but only if divided into separate mini estates with access off the various roads such as Dudley Road, Ploverdale, Ketley and Crestwood with shared allocation to existing areas.
Concerned about no of houses overall and no guarantee of increased health, education, social care services etc and road congestion.

Respondent: Glen Wood

Representation Summary:

Two housing estates have been built and a third is in progress at the moment. While
We all see the need for more housing the council do no take into account the road
infrastructure in this area. The traffic on tansey Green road and pensnett road is
horrendous and the current development is not completed yet. I have lived here 55
years and I am begining to think I will be housebound once it is finished. I am also
concerned that there are no extra facilities for schools or doctors being put in place
