If the land is vacant, I have no objection to its use for Housing - as long as that will not adversely affect the operation and viability of the adjacent Industrial Estate.

Although parts of this Industrial Estate look run down, other parts are not and there are quite a number of businesses operating from it. Finding alternative sites for all of them would be a mammoth task and impractical. In my view, the Estate should remain as an Employment site and redeveloped as such.
We need to preserve job availability locally so that local people can earn the money to buy or rent
Houses elsewhere in the Brierley Hill area.
Therefore, I OBJECT to this site being included in the Housing list.
