There is not suitable access roads onto the land. Nor would the infrastructure allow for the roads to be adapted as all access points have houses already built there.

Sport England has reviewed the site and agrees that on the balance of probability, the site is likely to have been used as an informal kickabout space, being incapable of accommodating a formal pitch and therefore does not wish to maintain our objection on this occasion.

There is not enough access for 24 houses there. This backs on to my garden and I do not want constant noise and traffic.

The plan is definitely NOT sound, as it does not meet the areas needs. It is NOT justified, and can in no way be considered as sustainable development. The destruction of a well used and loved greenfield recreational ground, is just wrong and unjust. The small football pitch is used by many local children and families for play and leisure, dog walkers etc. It's also a beautiful miniature urban green space, full of wildlife visitors including foxes, bats and birds of prey. There are much more suitable development sites around Halesowen and the surrounding area, many of which are brownfield.
